Philip J Martin is an award-winning fiction author, having earned Second and First Prize, respectively, in the 2014 and 2015 Tuscany Prize in Catholic Fiction for his stories The Laying on of Hands and The Grove. His fiction, non-fiction, and poetry have been published in Negative Capability Journal, Bellum Magazine, Jesus the Imagination, Crisis Magazine, The Imaginative Conservative, and The American Spectator, among others. His writing and research were critical in the making of the documentary film Sign of Contradiction, to which he contributed an original biography of St. Francis of Assisi for publication in the accompanying book of the same name. Currently, he is the Executive Director of 10th Hour Productions, a Catholic media nonprofit dedicated to creating soul-stirring truth, goodness, and beauty. Philip lives in and writes from beautiful Daphne, AL where he resides with his beautiful wife and five children.
He is the author of Ephphatha: Catholic Stories for Modern Times, which will be published by FQP next year.
